Not an old man yet...

Like Morris and Margeson said, "at least you're still playing ball". We played in a lacrosse tournement in San Diego over the weekend and did okay. We got smoked by the 'pro' team, and ran well against everyone else. Got this on a cross-check in the closing minutes of our last game on Saturday. To add insult, one of my teammates lit me up from the sideline, yelling "you are the worst McGurk on the field".

Only 54 more days until Europe.

Only 63 days to go...

On the off chance that anyone is interested, we've pretty much decided on where we're going to be in Europe. After flying into Frankfurt, we're going to drive south to Lucerne, Switzerland. A few days there and we'll fly to Bruges, Belgium. After that we'll be meeting Erin Pettit in Edinburgh, Scotland. We then make a few day side trip to Dublin, Ireland and then its on to London, England to meet up with Megan, Ryan, Kindra and JJ. Should be a good time.

Side note: good to see the Republicans 'leading by example'. We all know how well Bush has been doing lately. DeLay just decided to call it quits (although it was more of "taking my ball and going home"). And now a Homeland Security Aid has been arrested for being a douchebag (or 'approaching' a minor via the computer). I think we'd all agree that both sides of politics have some issues, but at least I can take enjoyment in watching their Ivory Tower crumble.
